Fairs and events are an important part of life at Wiurila
Every year, Wiurila takes part in fairs and events where we have the opportunity to meet visitors, travel professionals, groups and people planning their celebrations. Our upcoming events include the SUOMA Tour in Turku on 1 October 2026, the Matkainspiraatiota merellä cruise on 18 November 2026 and the Turku Wedding Fair on 23 January 2027.
SUOMA Tour in Turku, 1 October 2026
Venue: Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel.
The SUOMA Tour has been organised since 1992 and is Finland’s only sales event focusing specifically on domestic group travel, bringing together exhibitors from across the country. The tour is organised in cooperation with Suomen matkailuorganisaatiot – SUOMA ry. Ykkösmedia has been responsible for the practical arrangements of the event since autumn 2013.
Exhibitors include regional tourism organisations, destinations, hotel chains and companies offering tourism services from across Finland.
Guests include people responsible for travel arrangements in associations, organisations and clubs, as well as company secretaries and professionals responsible for meetings and business travel.
Matkainspiraatiota merellä cruise, November 18th 2026
In November, the Wiurila team heads out to sea for the Matkainspiraatiota merellä -picnic cruise. The event includes a travel industry mini-fair where visitors can discover new destinations, travel ideas and potential partners.
The programme includes a travel industry mini-fair, a welcome event for group organisers, talks, presentations of travel offerings and opportunities to meet and network with other participants.
Turku Wedding Fair, 23 January 2027
The Turku Wedding Fair is Finland’s oldest wedding event. This time, the event will be held at the Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel.
The Wedding Fair has been part of many important celebrations since 1993, giving the event more than 30 years of experience in wedding trends and inspiration.
The next Turku Wedding Fair will bring together wedding and celebration businesses from the Turku region and couples planning their weddings under one roof on Saturday, 23 January 2027.
Visitors to the Turku Wedding Fair are primarily planning weddings for 2027–2029. They come to find inspiration, discover the latest trends and services, and gather ideas to create a wedding day that truly reflects who they are.
