Wiurila's Sigrid

Restaurant Wiurilan Sigrid is located in the farm building of the Wiurila Manor, which, according to tradition, was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel himself. The timelessly beautiful building hides a fascinating contrast: a valuable past and a modern dining experience. The same building also houses a small, peaceful hotel. The surrounding golf greens and the greenery of the manor’s parks add to the manor’s atmosphere.

The restaurant hall is cozy and inviting. The slightly low-ceilinged space, furnished with wooden tables, is warm. Its old walls whisper stories of times gone by. The small windows remind you of the former life of the space. The details introduced into the interior, such as beautiful lamps and natural colors, create a cozy and homely atmosphere.

On the peaceful terrace in the courtyard, you can enjoy a glass of wine under the sun, with a view of the golf course. From the second terrace, which opens onto the manor’s parkway, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the historic landscape, which is bathed in the golden hues of the evening sun.

The restaurant is named Sigrid after the manor’s former mistress, Countess Sigrid Armfelt (née Creutz). Her story, alongside that of the manor’s lord, August Magnus Gustaf Armfelt, still whispers in the depths of the Wiurila buildings.

The kitchen serves simple, honest and delicious traditional food that you will want to return to again and again. The dishes prepared from local and domestic ingredients reflect the current season and the love for food. The restaurant also has full liquor licenses.

Restaurant Wiurilan Sigrid is not just a place to eat, it is an experience. It is a place where you can take a breath, let time stop, enjoying good food and company in a timeless manor environment.

Come and enjoy the cheerful service and relaxed atmosphere at Wiurilan Sigrid!
