Ladies Olga Open May 17th
WGCC’s first open golf competition for women in Wiurila, Olga Open on May 17th 2026. Wiurila manor has history stretching back six centuries. Numerous strong, sophisticated and cherished women have lived here during the centuries. Personalities, whose impact is still felt in the ambience and the environment of the manor. Inspired by this heritage, and suggested by the patron of the competition, Alexander Aminoff, the competition is called Olga Open.
Wiurila offers unforgettable moments with the most beautiful and thrilling melodies of Opera.

Olga Open is a competition event open for all women in the historic environment of Wiurila Manor.
Participate in the competition and enjoy a delicious meal in the Wiurilan Sigrid –restaurant!
• Registration fee 65€.
• With WGCC playing rights without membership 35€.
• With WGCC playing rights and membership only 25€.
Two leagues in the competition:
• Stableford HCP 18.1 and over, highest possible handicap 36.
• Stroke play HCP 18.0 and under.

Registration begins April 1st and ends May 7th 2026 at 4 pm.
There’s room for 72 players.

Olga Open Golf Gamebook Tournament
The title character of the competition, Olga Lovisa Axelina Armfeldt (1828 – 1855), was the wife of the Great Man of Wiurila, August Armfelt, and the love of his life. According to tradition the bond between them was a deep and unwavering love. It made August build the brickhouse of Riikki as a tribute to Olga. The building still stands as a part of the Wiurila landscape and story.
In the times of Olga Wiurila was a centre of culture and sophistication, where European influences encountered the Finnish earthly nature.
Olga Armfelt represented values, where responsibility, dignity, and communality moved side by side. These same values constitute the ambience of Olga Open.
Olga Open is more than a golf competition. It is a moment to halt next to history, celebrate women, and share a joint experience in the nature exercising, encountering and doing good.
Breakfast is served at the Wiurilan Sigrid –restaurant at 7.30 – 8.45 am, 13€ / person.
